Yes. BPI lets customers start a credit card application online through its official application page. Some BPI credit card requests may also need a form or branch submission, depending on the card or request type.¹
For your security, start your application through BPI’s official website or app, rather than links from unfamiliar emails, ads or messages. Before applying, compare the card’s fees, benefits, eligibility requirements and foreign currency charges so you know what to expect.
Before you apply, prepare the basic information and documents you may need. BPI says applicants need one photo- bearing, unexpired ID, plus proof of income or a copy of a credit card statement from another bank.²

Requirements can vary depending on the card and your applicant profile, so check the specific BPI card page before submitting your application.
There are a few ways to apply for a BPI credit card. You can start online, check whether there are card options in BPI’s digital channels, or visit a branch if you prefer in- person support.
Here’s a simple step- by- step guide to applying online:
BPI’s online application page lets users find a BPI credit card and apply online.¹ If you’re unsure which card to choose, compare annual fees, rewards, cashback, miles, foreign currency fees and eligibility requirements before applying.
If you already use BPI’s digital banking channels, you can check the BPI app or online banking to see whether a credit card application, offer or card- related option is available to you.
BPI has shared digital ways to apply for a BPI credit card from home.³ If you don’t see a credit card application option in the app, use BPI’s official online application page or visit a BPI branch instead.
Avoid entering your personal or financial details into unofficial forms, especially if the link came from a message or email you weren’t expecting.
You can also apply at a BPI branch. This may be useful if you prefer in- person support, need help with the form, or want to submit supporting documents directly.
To apply at a branch:
BPI also has a Credit Card Forms page where users can access credit card- related forms, including the Credit Card Application Form.⁴
A supplementary credit card is linked to a principal cardholder’s account. It can be useful for family members or trusted dependants, but the principal cardholder should understand how the card works before applying.
A BPI supplementary card request is generally made by the principal cardholder. BPI requires valid IDs for both the principal cardholder and supplementary cardholder when applying for a supplementary card.⁵
Before applying, check the fees, credit limit arrangement and responsibilities that come with a supplementary card.
BPI lists 2 main ways to apply for a supplementary card: through the BPI Contact Center or at a BPI branch.⁵
To apply through a BPI branch:
To apply through the BPI Contact Center:
BPI credit card application timelines can vary. Your processing time may depend on the card you applied for, whether your documents are complete, whether BPI needs more information, and where your card will be delivered.
If you’re applying through a specific promotion or card offer, check the terms on BPI’s official page. If you need an update, use BPI’s official contact channels rather than replying to unfamiliar messages.
Before applying, compare the card details carefully. A card that works well for everyday local spending may not be the best fit for travel, online shopping or overseas purchases.
Check:
Some BPI cards highlight rewards, rebates or exclusive privileges, while others may be designed for specific types of spending.⁶ Read the card’s rates, fees and terms before you apply.

A BPI credit card can work well for local spending, rewards and everyday purchases. But if you travel abroad, shop from international stores or pay in foreign currencies often, it’s worth checking the exchange rate and foreign transaction fees attached to your card.
The Wise card lets you spend in 40+ currencies at the mid-market rate including USD, SGD, GBP, and JPY so you know you'll be getting a great deal in over 150+ countries. Simply create a free Wise account, order a card and top-up PHP to get started.
A physical Wise card can be ordered for a low fee of 369.60 PHP. Having a physical Wise card allows you to make chip and pin payments, as well as 2 free ATM withdrawals to the value of 12,000 PHP each month, before low fees start.
In supported countries, Wise also lets you pay with QR codes, giving you another easy way to pay when cards or cash aren't your first choice. That means you can use Wise for card payments, cash withdrawals, and QR payments, all from the same account.
While abroad, you can choose to spend directly in PHP and let auto-conversion do the trick, or convert to your desired currency with your Wise account. Either way, you’ll get the exchange rate you see on Google, with low, transparent fees from 0.57%.
BPI says applicants need one photo- bearing, unexpired ID, plus proof of income or a copy of a credit card statement from another bank.² BPI may ask for more documents depending on your application and chosen card.
You may be able to apply for more than one card, depending on BPI’s current application form and offer. Check the latest BPI application form or official card page before applying, as eligibility and approval are still subject to BPI’s review.⁷
If your application is declined, check whether your details and documents were complete and accurate. You can contact BPI through official channels to ask about next steps, or consider applying again later when your income, documents or credit profile better match the card requirements.
