The BPI Rewards Credit Card is a points-based credit card that allows you to earn BPI Rewards Points when you spend. These points can be redeemed for a range of options, including shopping and dining credits, airline miles and selected investment products.
The card is designed for those looking for a flexible, everyday credit card, with multiple repayment options and a broad rewards catalogue. In addition to points-based rewards, cardholders may also gain access to merchant discounts and partner offers simply by using the card, without needing to redeem points.
To apply for a BPI Rewards Credit Card, you’ll need to meet the following criteria¹:
Depending on your employment status or length of employment, additional requirements may apply. As part of the application, you’ll also need to submit supporting documents, such as at least one valid photo ID and proof of income.
You can apply for the BPI Rewards Credit Card in person at a BPI branch, or online through the BPI website or the Lazada app.
If you apply through the BPI website, you’ll first complete a short questionnaire to help identify which BPI credit card best suits your profile². BPI currently offers multiple credit card options, each with different features and requirements.
When applying via Lazada, a 1 PHP payment is required to initiate the process. You’ll then receive instructions by email to complete your application. Once submitted, approval can take up to 15 banking days.

The BPI Rewards Credit Card includes several features designed to offer flexibility in how you spend and repay.
Cardholders can convert eligible purchases into installment plans of up to 36 months⁵, which may help spread the cost of larger expenses. You can also withdraw up to 30% of your credit limit as a cash advance, though interest and fees apply.
BPI cardholders also gain access to merchant discounts and promotions through the Oh My Deals! (OMD!) app⁶. The app allows you to browse offers by card type, location or category, making it easier to find deals relevant to you.
For travellers, the BPI Rewards Credit Card includes travel insurance coverage of up to 2 million PHP, provided the travel fare is charged to the card. When used overseas, a 1.85% foreign transaction service fee applies. If you plan to use your card abroad, it’s worth understanding how these fees work - see our guide on using a BPI card abroad for details. Frequent travellers may also want to compare this with specialist travel cards like Wise, which offer lower foreign exchange fees.
