How much does a Swift payment cost?
Your bank and any intermediary banks that handle your money along the way may charge their own fees. Wise has no control over these extra charges.
To make sure Wise receives the exact amount for your transfer, ask your bank to cover all transfer fees when you set it up. This is called an OUR Swift transfer. If your bank charges a shared fee (SHA), the intermediary banks will deduct their charges from your sending amount, and we will receive less money.
If someone sends a Swift payment directly to your Wise account details, we'll deposit whatever amount we receive. There is nothing extra you need to do.
How long does a Swift payment take?
Swift payments usually take 1–6 working days to reach us. They can sometimes take longer because of time zone differences or if multiple banks are involved in processing your transfer.
How do I track my Swift transfer?
You can check the live status of your transfer anytime using the tracker in your account:
Log in to your Wise account.
Go to Home to view your activity list.
Select the transfer you want to track.
