Already a Stripe customer? You don’t need to leave your app to benefit from Wise. Stripe has partnered with Wise Platform to integrate our global payments infrastructure directly into Stripe. That means that Stripe customers can now access fast, convenient international payments directly in their Stripe app.
And, because Stripe has partnered with Wise Platform for their multi-currency payments, when you sign up with Stripe, you’ll also be able to access Wise’s fast and convenient international payments experience directly from Stripe.
Stripe is one of the world's most popular payment processors on the web right now, serving millions of businesses in over 120 countries including some well-known brands.
Stripe also has a partner program that allows businesses to connect and scale their operations using products, tools, and services from other providers. For example, if you have a blog and then decide to sell some products on it, you could use a WooCommerce plugin which is powered by Stripe to process your payments.
Some members of the partner program also allow you to create your own affiliate program powered by Stripe so you can generate new leads for your business.
Stripe doesn’t have a conventional affiliate program but it is a useful tool for businesses that process payments online.
As mentioned, Stripe doesn’t currently offer a conventional affiliate marketing program. However, it does provide a range of resources and tools to help businesses integrate Stripe into their payment systems.
Stripe is a payment processing platform that allows businesses to accept and process debit/credit card payments from customers globally. The platform launched in 2010 and is currently used by companies including Deliveroo, Spotify, Uber, and Google.
When a consumer makes an online purchase, the business selling the product or service typically needs both a payment gateway and a payment processor to securely capture and process funds. Stripe provides both services in one platform.
Stripe supports 135 currencies, meaning that businesses can sell products or services in multiple countries using local currencies. If currencies differ, Stripe can convert payment amounts during processing.
Stripe integrates with a range of payment methods including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, ACH, and more.
Stripe can be used by businesses of different sizes, from small companies to large enterprises. It can be particularly useful for businesses operating internationally or those needing flexible payment integrations.
Stripe is currently available in 39 countries including the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia, and can be used both online and in physical stores.
The Stripe Partner Program is designed for three different types of partner:
Platform Partner – Designed for individuals and businesses wanting to add payments to their platform.
Extension Partner – Designed for those with technical expertise who want to build tools to enhance the Stripe platform.
Plugin Partner – Designed for developers creating plugins for platforms such as WordPress or other open-source systems.
Stripe’s partner program is free to join, with an optional paid tier for larger businesses called the Stripe Verified Partner Program.
There are several factors to consider when using Stripe’s partner ecosystem:
Stripe supports integrations with third-party tools that enable businesses to create affiliate-style tracking and payment systems.
For example, tools like Rewardful allow businesses to set up affiliate-style programs, while Linkmink can be used for tracking referral performance and commissions.
Stripe is a versatile payment processing platform with a wide range of features and integrations. While it does not offer a traditional affiliate program, its partner ecosystem provides opportunities for businesses to build and scale payment-related solutions.
