There are lots of different ways you can change your contact details with Barclays. So if you’ve changed address, have a new phone number or email address, you should be able to get your account updated quickly. Let’s look at the options available.
If you have the Barclays mobile app, it’s pretty easy to update your contact details. However, you won’t be able to do it if you’re a Business or Wealth customer, or if you have a Barclays mortgage.¹
Here’s how to change an address on the Barclays app, step-by-step:¹

You can also change your details by logging into your Barclays online banking. Here’s what you need to do:¹
To update your address, you’ll need to follow the same process, but using your PINsentry card reader or Mobile PINsentry.¹
If you’d prefer to speak to someone, you can call Barclays to change your address over the phone. Simply call one of the following numbers:¹
You can also tap ‘Direct call’ in the Barclays app.
The last option available at Barclays is to change your address in branch. You can find your nearest local branch here. As it's one of the UK’s biggest banks, there are lots of locations to choose from.
You don’t need to make an appointment in advance. Simply pop in with your Barclays debit card and a valid photo ID, such as your passport or driving licence.¹ You should only need this, as proof of address shouldn’t be required. A member of staff will help you update your details.
Whichever method you use to update your details with Barclays, the changes should be made pretty much straight away. The details the bank holds for your Barclaycard and any joint accounts will also be updated at the same time.¹
