Small business owners can use this business account to send and receive euros within one business day. With just one account and one payment card, you can complete all your SEPA (The Single Euro Payment Area) transactions seamlessly9. This means you can receive payments from customers and send payments to suppliers with bank accounts in the SEPA Zone.

Tide lets you send international payments in USD to the US through ACH (Automated Clearing House)10. Currently, there is no capability to receive USD via ACH.

Whilst customers can receive GBP via SWIFT payments from over 200 countries, customers are unable to send SWIFT payments themselves - only ACH and SEPA are supported. The only other currency you can receive payments in is EUR, which you can access with local IBAN account details.12

Fees: There’s no account opening fee or monthly subscription¹⁹. Remitly’s transfer fees for business accounts are the same as for personal accounts20 but it varies depending on what country you are sending or receiving from, the currency and its payment route. You will also also get an exchange rate conversion charge on all transfers, which are not clear until you’re ready to make the payment.

For example, you will see a fee of £0.99 when sending GBP to USD, you get a promotional exchange rate on your first transfer (new customers only) but the actual cost depends on the payment method, delivery option and exchange rates after the first ‘special rate’.21
