SocialBee offers two sets of plans. The Standard plans suit individuals and small teams, while the Agency plans are built for companies that handle a larger number of profiles or client accounts.
You can pay monthly or choose annual billing, which works out about 16% cheaper. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Here’s how each plan compares:¹
| Plan | Monthly billing cost | Annual billing cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bootstrap (Standard) | $29 | $24.20 | Freelancers, coaches, and solopreneurs just getting started |
| Accelerate (Standard) | $49 | $40.80 | Startups and small businesses posting regularly |
| Pro (Standard) | $99 | $82.50 | Growing teams managing multiple brands |
| Pro50 (Agency) | $179 | $149.20 | Agencies and teams managing up to 50 profiles |
| Pro100 (Agency) | $329 | $274.20 | Agencies and teams managing up to 50 profiles |
| Pro150 (Agency) | $449 | $374.20 | Agencies and teams managing up to 50 profiles |
Now, let’s look at each plan in detail to know what they offer.
Bootstrap is the entry-level plan. It costs $29 per month on a rolling subscription, or $24.20 per month if you pay for the year upfront.
Bootstrap is best if you’re starting out and only manage a few accounts. Freelancers and solo founders will find it useful for keeping posts organised and running on time without paying for features they don’t yet need. If you’re planning to manage more than five profiles or want deeper analytics, you’ll likely grow out of this plan quickly.
Accelerate is the next step up from Bootstrap. It costs $49 each month, or $40.80 per month when billed annually.
Accelerate works well for small businesses that post more often and want better control of their scheduling. It lets you manage a larger set of profiles, bulk upload posts, and get more detailed analytics than Bootstrap. If you’re running consistent campaigns across several platforms, this plan gives you enough room without the jump in price that comes with Pro.
Pro is the top option in the Standard range. It’s $99 a month if you pay monthly, or $82.50 a month on an annual subscription.
Pro is a good fit if social media is a team effort in your company. It gives you room to manage several brands, share the work across different users, and keep each project organised in its own workspace. Agencies and marketing teams often land here once they’ve moved past the basics. If you’re ready for stronger analytics and a setup that supports teamwork, Pro is where it starts to make sense.
Pro50 is the entry point of the Agency range. It’s $179 a month on a rolling subscription, or $149.20 if you choose to pay yearly.
Pro50 makes sense if you’re an agency looking after several clients or a bigger team with many accounts to juggle. The extra profiles and workspaces help you keep each client or brand separate, while multiple user seats mean you can share the work. If five or ten profiles already feel tight, Pro50 gives you the space to manage everything without cutting corners.
Pro100 is the middle tier in the Agency lineup. It costs $329 a month, or $274.20 if you pay for the year.
Pro100 is built for agencies or teams that are already running a lot of accounts. The jump to 100 profiles gives you breathing room if you’re managing campaigns for dozens of clients. With 20 workspaces, you can separate projects cleanly, and 10 users make it easier to share the load. If Pro50 feels tight but you’re not ready to max out the top plan, Pro100 is a solid middle ground.
Pro150 is the highest tier in the Agency range. It’s $449 a month on a rolling subscription, or $374.20 a month if you pay annually.
Pro150 is for agencies at full scale. With room for 150 profiles, 30 workspaces, and 15 users, it can support a large roster of clients and a team big enough to manage them. This plan is overkill for smaller agencies or in-house teams, but if you are running campaigns across many brands and want the headroom to keep growing, Pro150 gives you the space to do it.
If you need more room in your plan, SocialBee gives you the option to add users, workspaces, or profiles without upgrading to a new tier. Each add-on has a flat monthly cost:²
SocialBee charges in US dollars. If you’re in the UK, your bank or card provider will convert the payment into pounds. The problem is that providers can add a foreign transaction fee on top, and the exchange rate you get can be worse than the real market rate.
To avoid unnecessary costs, you might want to get and use the Wise Business card to pay for SocialBee. It provides you with mid-market exchange rates and access to 40+ currencies, including USD, GBP and EUR.

SocialBee can be affordable if you use it wisely. Here are a few ways to keep costs down:
If you run a team, subscriptions can add up fast. One card for everything makes it hard to track who bought what. Wise Business helps you split that out. You can give employees their own business cards, set a limit, and see every payment as it happens.
Opening an account in the UK costs £45. Each card payment earns 0.5% cashback too.
SocialBee lists fixed plan prices per account. Buffer charges per channel apply for Essentials and Team, so the monthly cost depends on the number of channels you connect. The table shows how they both compare:
| Plan tier | SocialBee (monthly/annual billing) | Buffer (monthly/annual billing) |
|---|---|---|
| Free option | No free plan; 14-day free trial available | Free plan available |
| Entry | Bootstrap – $29 / 24.20 | Essentials – $6 / $5 per channel |
| Mid | Accelerate – $49 / 40.20 | Team – $12 / $10 per channel |
| Upper | Pro – $99 / 82.50 | – |
| Agency | Pro50 – $179 / $149.20 Pro100 – $329 / $274.20 Pro150 – $449 / $374.20 | – |
