1. SIBOS 2026

The SWIFT International Banking Operations Seminar, or SIBOS, is an annual exhibition and networking conference focused on the mechanics of banking and the future of the industry. With thousands of financial experts and decision-makers brought together, SIBOS 2026 promises inspiring ideas, collaborative innovation and fantastic network growth opportunities.

The theme for 2026’s SIBOS is ‘Digital finance for AI‑driven economies,’ with a discussion around the most pressing technological advances currently taking place in finance. With over 200 exhibitors attending 2025’s SIBOS conference and major names like Mastercard, SAS and Bank of America already announced, the conference’s show floor is just as exciting as its speaker itinerary.

3. Financial Conduct Authority Webinars

The Financial Conduct Authority is a regulatory board which oversees the UK’s key financial sectors. From markets to consumers, the FCA is critical in maintaining order and compliance. The FCA has therefore established an ongoing series of Webinars, designed to help those across business stay up to date with regulation.

With the FCA having recently hosted webinars such as ‘Operational resilience 1 year on, incident and third party reporting requirements,’ and ‘FCA Motor Finance Next Steps,’ it is evident that their sessions are niche, focused and industry-specific.

With the webinar series set to return later in the year, it is important to keep an eye on the FCA website, for the most up to date information. The platform also hosts an entire catalogue of previous FCA webinars to dive into.2

4. World Finance Conference 2026

Date: 26th - 29th July, 2026
Location: Limerick, Ireland

The World Finance Conference is designed to not only bring industry professionals into the discussion, but also to connect them with the educational space. Hosted at the University of Limerick’s business school, academics, researchers and key thinkers will be providing their own unique insights.

Attendees are invited to submit their own research papers to enter the discourse and as a leading light in innovation, embracing that change is a key theme of the year. Leading speakers like Lucio Sarno of Cambridge Judge Business School and Kathy Yuan of the London School of Economics and Political Science, will be guiding proceedings.

5. AFME European AML Conference 2026

Date: 4th November, 2026

The Association of Financial Markets holds regular events across the year, tackling different elements of the financial landscape. November’s event focuses on the EU’s new Anti-Money Laundering framework, providing guidance for organisations to implement it ahead of its July 2027 go-live date.

Attendees can expect policy makers, regulators and key leaders as they open the floor to discussions surrounding business communities.

The conference’s key themes within AML include business-wide risk assessments, customer due diligence, governance, high-risk sectors and more.

6. J.P. Morgan UK Leaders Conference

Leading firm J.P. Morgan hosts a robust range of conferences and events every year. A selection of their upcoming schedule includes the Global Luxury & Brands Conference, European Leveraged Finance Conference and Global Energy Conference. However, the UK Leaders Conference is of particular interest.

With a primary focus on national growth, 2025’s J.P. Morgan UK Leaders Conference covered AI integration and a market outlook on the future. The event usually features fireside chats and roundtable discussions from the very best in the industry.

While ticket information is still to be determined, many of J.P. Morgan’s events are invite only. Nonetheless, some companies such as NatWest publish the minutes of these events online after their completion. Keep up to date with J.P. Morgan’s offerings on the official website.4

6. BAFT Webinars

The Bankers Association for Finance and Trade or BAFT, hosts a range of fantastic in-person events like the Women in Transaction Banking Briefing. However, their webinar roster is also incredibly robust, with a few upcoming standouts including The Future Banker and Practical Uses of Digital Assets in Transaction Banking.

All hosted on Zoom, BAFT’s schedule is compelling because of its specificity. Each event is research-led and hosted by industry professionals. Often, the shape of these webinars is structured around a series of white papers, with these academic and practical, often regulatory documents open to scrutiny.

7. World Finance Forum

While the next World Finance Forum isn’t scheduled until 2027, tickets are already being sold for the massive event. With 75 expert speakers, over 400 CEOs and finance leads, and 25 cutting-edge tech providers, the brightest minds will be attending the forum to discuss the state of the industry.

9. Gartner Finance Symposium & Xpo

This double-barreled event hosted by the advisory and research-driven Gartner, is designed to bring together problem-solvers as they tackle the leading issues facing the finance space. Management risks, efficiency improvement, future growth and a drive towards profitability are the concerns for the 2026 conference.

What you can expect: over 1200 CFOs and finance executives in attendance, alongside over 40 Gartner analysts with extensive experience and over 50 solution providers, who are seeking to solve some of these problems.9 With pre and post conference support and a range of specialist programs to join, this is an event that you can tailor to your interests.

10. Money 20/20 Europe

With industry veterans, key leaders and banks brought together, Money 20/20 Europe is set to be one of the largest fintech events of the year. Key areas including crypto, AI and cybersecurity are all major topics up for discussion here, while the innovative Money 20/20 Connect app promises to revolutionise networking at the event.

2026 speakers included Kraken co-CEO Arjun Sethi, Mastercard President Kelly Devine and football analyst Jamie Carragher are all booked in for the event, alongside representatives of the Rise Up & Amplify initiative, designed for minority, non-binary and female financial leaders.
