Donate fee-free to help with the earthquake relief
Strong earthquakes struck the area in south-eastern Türkiye and Syria early Monday, leaving large-scale destruction and debris in the region. The situation is devastating and people in the region need urgent support.
We’re waiving the transfer fees when you donate.

We are enabling fee-free donations to the following organisations to support people in the region and contribute to the earthquake relief efforts:

UNHCR - the UN Refugee Agency, is a global organisation dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for refugees and forcibly displaced communities.

Save the Children - one of the world’s leading organisations for children and exists to help every child get the chance of a future they deserve. We work in 118 countries, including the UK, to support children to keep safe, healthy and learning.

AHBAP - Founded in 2017, AHBAP is a Turkish charity organisation, that is currently pooling together aid to support relief for all those impacted by the earthquake disaster.
No matter where you are, you can send up to 500 GBP per donation to UNHCR or Save the Children and up to 2.000 TRY per donation to AHBAP. We temporarily won’t charge you any transfer fees.
If you want to donate more than 500 GBP / 2,000 TRY, that’s great. You’ll just have to set up a new transfer each time, because we can’t waive the fees on amounts over the limits we’ve stated.
To make a donation, follow these steps.
- First, log in to your Wise account like you normally do, and then go to the “Recipients” page.
- Scroll down, and you should see the “Donate” section.
- Tap or click on “Make an impact” under that section, and select "Support earthquake relief efforts in Turkiye”.
- You will then be able to enter the amount that you’ll like to donate, and proceed to pay like you normally would.
- You’ll see that the fees are waived on the final review screen for your transfer.
