Revolut card withdrawal limits

Withdrawals made with a Revolut card are subject to a monthly allowance that depends on your subscription plan. Once this limit is exceeded, fees apply.

Revolut also applies additional fees for weekend withdrawals or payments, regardless of your plan. These apply across all currencies.

Revolut Standard & Plus cards

The Standard card allows up to €200 in free withdrawals per month or five withdrawals (whichever comes first).
Beyond this limit, a 2% fee or €1 minimum (whichever is higher) applies.

The Plus card has the same €200 free monthly limit, but the five-withdrawal cap doesn’t apply. You can make unlimited withdrawals up to the €200 threshold.¹

Revolut Premium card

The Premium plan allows up to €400 per month in free withdrawals. Beyond this, Revolut charges 2% or €1 minimum

Revolut Metal card

The Metal plan raises the limit to €800 per month. Beyond that, the same 2% or €1 fee applies.¹

Revolut Ultra card

The Ultra plan offers the highest limit: €2,000 per month. After exceeding this, each withdrawal incurs 2% or €1 in fees until the next monthly cycle.¹

Things to know about Revolut withdrawal limits

Keep these points in mind:

  • Fees apply to all currencies: Whether you withdraw euros, dollars, or pounds, fees may apply once you exceed your plan limit or make a weekend withdrawal.
  • Limits reset monthly: Your allowance renews on the date you opened your account or changed your plan.
  • ATM provider fees may apply: Some local ATMs charge additional fees that Revolut can’t control. These are often shown before confirmation.
  • Currency conversion charges: For “Standard” and “Plus” users, conversions are subject to a monthly limit. Once exceeded, exchange fees apply (see below).
  • You can check your remaining allowance: In the app, go to your profile → “Your plan” to see how much you can still withdraw or convert for free.
💳 Tip: with the Wise account, enjoy a multi-currency card offering conversions at the mid-market exchange rate, with no subscription or hidden fees.

Revolut currency conversion limits

When paying or withdrawing in a currency not held in your account, Revolut converts it automatically.

  • Standard plan: 1% exchange fee beyond €1,000/month.
  • Plus plan: 0.5% fee beyond €3,000/month.
  • Premium, Metal, and Ultra: Unlimited conversions with no extra charge.¹

During weekends, extra fees apply:

  • 1% for Standard users
  • 0.5% for Plus users
  • None for Premium, Metal, or Ultra subscribers.¹

Revolut payment limits

Revolut allows users to set custom monthly spending limits. If a transaction exceeds this limit, it will be automatically declined.¹

These limits also apply to Google Pay and Apple Pay transactions.
Be aware that some merchants impose their own, lower contactless limits — meaning a payment could be declined even if your Revolut limit allows it.

Additionally, Revolut applies weekly limits for certain types of transactions:¹

  • Non-banking financial institutions: £10,000 or equivalent per 7 days
  • Bank transfers: Variable per 7 days
  • Gambling and betting: £25,000 or equivalent per 7 days

Revolut top-up limits

For security reasons, Revolut enforces a daily top-up limit for newly added cards.
Exact thresholds are confidential and depend on your account history. As you make more transactions, your limits typically increase over time.

Revolut virtual card limits

Revolut does not publicly specify limits for virtual cards.¹
