Here's how you can change your business details on either web or app depending on if your business has been verified or not.
If your business isn’t verified
If your business hasn’t been verified yet, follow these steps to edit your details on either web or app.
Go on your business name in the top corner — make sure you're in your business account
Select Business details
Select Edit for the section you need to change and fill in the form
Select Request change
If your business is already verified
If your business has been already verified, you may still be able to update your name and address by following the steps above, as long as it's within the same country and legal entity. You need the right permissions in your team to be able to edit these details.
Address change
Your trading address should be a permanent physical address. We can’t accept PO boxes or virtual or temporary addresses (hotels, Airbnbs) for a trading address.
If your business is changing countries, it's going to change its legal entity, so you would need to open a new business account with Wise.
Name change
Note that once name change is complete, all statements will display the new name. If you need statements to show the old name, you need to download them before submitting the request.
Your business name can be either the full legal business name or a trading name.
Your business name has a 50 character limit. If your business name is longer, you will need to use an abbreviation
Owner (Ultimate Beneficial Owners) or controller change
You need to contact us if you want to update the director or shareholder information. We will need a document confirming these changes (such as a registry document).
