Parents who set up a Young Explorer Account can choose how much their child can spend in a day and over a month. If you set up the account, your child’s spending will count towards your overall account limits.
Although you can choose your child’s spending limits, they can’t exceed certain amounts each month. How much your child can spend in total each month depends where you live.
Due to local regulations, if your registered address is in Australia, New Zealand or Singapore, there are limits on the amounts your child can hold in their Young Explorer Account at any one time, too.
| Where you live | How much your child can spend in total each month | How much money your child can hold in total |
|---|---|---|
| Australia | 999 AUD | 999 AUD |
| Brazil | 10,000 BRL | No limit |
| New Zealand | 690 NZD | 999 NZD |
| Singapore | 1,600 SGD | 999 SGD |
| Switzerland | 1,000 CHF | No limit |
| UK | 1,000 GBP | No limit |
These monthly limits include both card spending and ATM usage. If you’re a customer based in Singapore, ATM usage isn’t allowed locally or abroad.
