There are many visa free Asian countries for Filipinos, whether you want to explore the cityscape of Singapore, or hit the cultural highlights of Vietnam.
For an off-the-beaten trip, consider Central Asia and head to somewhere like Kazakhstan. Filipinos can visit Kazakhstan for up to 30 days visa free² as a tourist, to explore the historical sites, cities, beaches and mountain treks. It’s relatively affordable and offers a unique mix of history, nature, and adventure.
Another unique option is Mongolia, known for its vast landscapes and nomadic culture. You can go there for up to 21 days visa free³ with a Filipino passport, giving you plenty of time to explore the stunning steppes, and get immersed in the local culture.
At the time of writing, there are no fully visa-free European countries for Filipino passport holders. For many European countries, you’ll need to apply for a Schengen visa, which gives you entry to the 29 Schengen area⁴ countries. Or for some countries you’ll need to apply for a single country visa - such as the UK visitor visa⁵ if you’re planning a trip to London.
There are quite a few great options for visa free entry for Filipino passport holders in Africa. You might try a trip to Morocco⁶ to soak up the atmosphere in the souks for example, or to simply hit the beach and relax.
If wildlife adventures appeal to you, Madagascar is a standout option, famous for its natural diversity and unique opportunities to spot wildlife. You do need to get a visa for entry⁷, but visa on arrival options are available, which means you won’t usually need to get anything arranged before you fly. Filipino passport holders can enter several South American countries visa-free, including Brazil⁸. While getting to South America is a commitment in terms of travel time, you’re rewarded with a stunning country and a warm welcome. Plus, Filipinos can usually go to Brazil for up to 90 days as a tourist without needing a visa - giving ample time to soak up the new experiences.
Other options in the Americas include several Caribbean destinations which could be perfect for a romantic trip or a ‘once in a lifetime’ break somewhere new.
Oceania offers a glimpse into a unique culture and way of life, and there are several destinations including Fiji⁹, which are visa free for Filipinos. This could be a great bet if you love to dive or snorkel, with other outdoors options including hiking also well catered for.
