Wise Platform expands partnership with Aspire to launch fast, low-cost international payments in Hong Kong

Since 2019, Wise Platform and Aspire have partnered to enable fast, low-cost and transparent cross-border payments for businesses in Singapore, straight from the Aspire app.

A lot has changed since then - 74% of payments on Wise are now instant (meaning they arrive in 20 seconds or less) and Aspire has helped over 50,000 companies in more than 30 markets save time and money with international payments, treasury, expense, payable, and receivable management solutions.

The launch of our partnership with Aspire has fundamentally enhanced the speed, reliability, and transparency of their cross-border payments. Aspire became one of the first non-bank global providers to go fully transparent with their cross-border fees and has seen an average YoY active customer growth of 25%. Powered by Wise Platform’s API, over half of Aspire payments are now delivered instantly, in under 20 seconds, and 92% reach recipients within 24 hours.

Building on a successful relationship, we’re now bringing this offering to customers in Hong Kong to enable them to send money in 40 currencies, including to countries like Singapore, the United States, Australia, Japan and Korea.

Powered by Wise’s direct participation in 8 local payment schemes, the partnership enables fast, low-cost transfers, making it even more convenient for customers to manage their money around the world. Last week, Wise became the first non-bank to go live on Japan's Zengin payment system, also making moving Yen instant for Aspire’s customers.
