You can send money to someone securely without needing their bank details. You just set up a transfer and share a payment link with them. Your recipient then clicks the link to enter their own details and claim the money.
This feature is for personal accounts only.
How to create a link
Go to Payments and select Send via link
Select Create a link
Choose the currency and the amount you want to send
Review the details and select Continue
Select Copy payment link to share it with your recipient
The screen will also show you when the link is set to expire.
What does my recipient need to do?
When your recipient opens the link, we’ll ask them for an email address and a password. This is to keep the money safe. They can use these details to Log in if they decide to open a Wise account later.
Once they enter their bank details and select Claim, the money will be sent to their account.

How do I cancel a link?
You can cancel a transfer as long as your recipient hasn't claimed the money yet.
Go to Home and find your Transactions
Select the pending transfer
Select Cancel transfer — this will deactivate the link immediately
Why can't I see the option to send with a link?
We are still rolling this feature out, so it might not be available to you yet. You also won't see the option if you already have 5 active links.
