To keep your money safe and follow local regulations, we need to verify your identity before you send money from Emirati Dirhams (AED).
Sending from AED is only available to customers who live in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
What documents do I need for my ID?
To verify your identity, you must provide a valid Emirates ID. We’ll ask for this when you set up your first transfer.
If you’re a UAE national: You’ll need to provide your national ID.
If you’re a non-national: You’ll need your active UAE residence permit.
How does the selfie check work?
When you upload your ID, we’ll also ask you to take a ‘liveness check’ or a selfie while holding your ID. This helps us confirm that you are who you say you are.
