There are some essential updates we are legally required to send you, like changes to our Terms and Conditions, compliance verifications, or updates on your transfers. Because of this, you cannot turn off notifications for these service messages.
How do I change my notification settings?
You can review and update your notification preferences at any time.
Log in to your Wise account.
Select your name or profile picture to open Settings.
Select Notifications.
Choose which notifications you want to receive and how you want to get them.
What types of notifications can I manage?
You can customize your alerts across the following categories:
Your transfers and balances: Real-time updates on where your money is and when your transfers land.
Your Wise card: Notifications about your card transactions and spending.
Personalised updated: News about our latest features, products, and helpful tips for using Wise.
Invitations to share feedback: Invites to share your feedback and help us test new products.
Updates on causes we care about: Updates about global causes we support and information on how you can get involved.
How are notifications delivered?
We deliver notifications across three different channels:
Email: We'll send updates directly to your registered email address.
Push notifications: We'll send alerts to any mobile device where you have the Wise app installed.
Inbox messages: You'll see a notification bell alert on your homepage when you log in. Please note that you cannot opt out of inbox messages.
I'm not receiving emails or push alerts. What should I do?
If you are missing important updates from us, try these quick troubleshooting steps:
Verify your email address: Double-check your profile to make sure we have your correct, current email address on file.
Check your Spam folder: Our emails might accidentally end up in your Spam or Junk folder. Mark
@wise.comas a trusted sender if you find them there.Check your device permissions: Make sure push notifications are enabled for the Wise app in your phone's system settings.
How do I change my notification language?
We automatically send notifications in your preferred profile language. Simply update your language settings in your profile to change it.
