iDeal is a fast and secure way to pay for your transfer directly from your bank account in the Netherlands. You can use it on both the Wise website and the mobile app.
Who can use iDeal?
You can use iDeal if you:
Have a bank account in the Netherlands.
Are paying in EUR.
How much can I send?
You can send up to 50,000 EUR per transfer.
How long does it take?
The time it takes for your money to reach Wise depends on how much you’re sending.

How do I pay with iDeal?
Set up your transfer as you normally would.
At the final payment step, select iDeal from the list of payment methods.
Click Confirm.
You’ll be taken to iDeal’s website to enter your details.
Once the payment is processed, you'll be sent back to Wise automatically.
What about refunds?
If you cancel your transfer, we’ll send the money back to your bank account. Refunds take generally 2–3 working days (or a maximum of 10 working days).
