When you send money with us, you can choose exactly how much you want to send or exactly how much you want your recipient to receive.
How do I make sure my recipient gets an exact amount?
If you need your recipient to receive a specific figure in their currency, follow these steps:
From the Home screen, select Send.
Choose your recipient.
Choose your currency and enter the amount you want them to receive in the Recipient gets field.
We will automatically update the You send field to include all fees and taxes needed to cover that exact amount.
Pay within the guaranteed rate period
We’ll show you how long we guarantee your exchange rate for. As long as you pay before the rate expires, we will convert your money at that rate and send the exact amount to your recipient.
Keep in mind that some payment methods, like bank transfers, take longer to reach us. You must send your payment early enough so that it arrives before the guaranteed rate expires.

Use the currency you hold
If you already hold the currency you are sending, you can pay using that money. We can take the exact amount from your balance even if the exchange rate isn't guaranteed, as long as you have enough to cover the transfer and fees.
How do I send an exact amount from my own currency?
If you want to send a specific total from your side, follow these steps:
From the Home screen, select Send.
Choose your recipient.
Choose your currency and enter the amount you want to pay in the You send field.
We will show you how much your recipient gets in their currency after fees and taxes have been taken.
Sending from a Wise Business account
If you use a Wise Business account on our website, you can see the amount we convert under You send. You can adjust this figure until you reach the exact amount you want to convert. The fees and taxes will be shown as part of the total You send amount.
