Click to Pay - Privacy Notice

1. Introduction

This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) applies to your use of Click to Pay. This Notice supplements the Privacy Notice that applies to your use of Wise’s services (Personal or Business).

2. A frictionless online checkout experience

Click to Pay is a card-level feature - similar to contactless - offered by Wise in partnership with the applicable Card Networks (e.g., Visa and Mastercard). It allows you to pay online without manual form-filling by using a secure profile linked to your email or mobile number. This is applicable across any device you are using for an online purchase and provides a frictionless checkout experience.

3. Which personal data is collected?

We process personal data required for checkout through Click to Pay, which may include your name, email, mobile number, Card PAN (primary account number), Card expiry date, and billing address. We share this data with the relevant Card Network to provide you this solution.

4. How we use your personal data?

Your data may be used for purposes such as to enrol you in the solution, to enable you to stay signed in on your device (if you have chosen this), to enable you to check out using the solution, to integrate with other digital wallets (if you have chosen to do this), to participate in programs related to your use of the solution.

Wise and the relevant Card Network act as joint controllers (where such concept is applicable under relevant data protection laws) with respect to your personal data.

Wise is responsible for collecting your personal information, transmitting it to the relevant Card Network and keeping it up to date. After your personal data is transferred to the Card Network, its subsequent processing, storage, and usage are governed by the Card Network's specific privacy policies and practices. For detailed information on how the Card Network processes your data, please refer to their respective privacy notice.

5. Your rights

You can opt-out of this service at any time at any time by adjusting your Click to Pay settings within the Wise App/Website. You can also exercise other privacy rights that are available to you, described in Section 10 of the Wise Privacy Notice.

6. Retention

Your personal information is kept for as long as needed for the purposes mentioned above and for any additional period that may be required or permitted by law.
