How does Revolut's pricing work?

Revolut offers their customers several plans. The above price comparison only takes into account their free plan called “Standard”, which includes a monthly allowance of £1,000 that can be used to either convert currencies or make an international transfer (outside of Revolut).

Let’s say you want to make three transfers of 1,000 GBP in one month. Once you’ve used your monthly allowance with Revolut after your first transfer, their transfer fee gets significantly higher and therefore the total amount received is lower.

How long does it take to send money with Wise?

We always move your money as quickly as possible. The reason for this is simple — the more information we have about your transfer, the more accurately we can tell you how long it’ll take. What is the mid-market rate?

The important thing to remember is that there is only one mid-market exchange rate. Sometimes this is called the mid-market rate, interbank rate, and spot rate, amongst other things.

The mid-market exchange rate is the midpoint between the buy and sell rates on the global currency markets and it constantly fluctuates. It's the rate you might find on Google, finance.yahoo.com, etc., and it’s the rate Wise gives you when you send money to over 70 countries.

What is a Wise account?

Your Wise account is a bit like having local accounts all over the world.

It's a multi-currency account that lets you keep money in over 40 currencies, and convert between them at the mid-market exchange rate whenever you need. Country restrictions apply. Visit Which countries can I use Wise in.

Cost far less than most high street banks?
