La Pergola

It’s only right to start with La Pergola, the only three-Michelin star restaurant in Rome, offering spectacular views over the city. Chef Heinz Beck has been in charge of the menu since 1994, while sommelier Marco Reitano can recommend some of the finest wines to accompany the food.²

Chef Beck’s signature creations draw on Italian and Mediterranean flavours, combined with innovative techniques. Healthy and sustainable cuisine is also a key focus, which is reflected in light, high-quality dishes.²

La Pergola is located at Via Alberto Cadlolo 101. You can make a reservation from Tuesday to Saturday, as the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays.²

Il Pagliaccio

Chef Anthony Genovese has created an intriguing fusion of modern Italian food and different global influences at Il Paggliacio. As a result, it’s one of the few two-Michelin star restaurants in Rome.³

The blind tasting menus are the best way to experience chef Genovese’s vision, including the most recent one introduced to mark forty years of his career. The team includes maître Matteo Zappile, sommelier Luca Belleggia and Veronica Loachamin.³

The restaurant is located at Via dei Banchi Vecchi 129/a and it’s open every day except for Sunday and Monday.³

Per Me Giulio Terrinoni

Per Me Giulio Terrinoni is a one-Michelin star restaurant focused on refined fish and seafood dishes, although there are also meat and vegetarian options on the menu.⁴

Chef Giulio Terrinoni focuses on high-quality ingredients and simplicity in presentation. For the best experience, try to book a seat at the counter. Chef Terrinoni will create and plate a surprise menu for you while you watch the entire cooking process.⁴

Per Me Giulio Terrinoni is located at Vicolo del Malpasso 9. It’s open every day, with a break between 14:00 and 19:00.⁴

Acquolina

Acquolina is located at the First Roma Hotel and is led by chef Daniele Lippi. The restaurant holds two Michelin stars and is known for gourmet, hearty Mediterranean cuisine.⁵

There are two tasting menus created by chef Lippi, one focused on fish and a more elaborate option that includes meat dishes. One of their signature plates is cuttlefish inspired by Turkish flavours, so it’s well worth trying.⁵

Acquolina can be found at Via del Vantaggio 14. It’s open every day apart from Sunday and Monday, but only from 19:00 to 21:00.⁵

Il Convivio Troiani

Il Convivio Troiani is a charming family-run restaurant founded in the early 1990s by three brothers, with Angelo in the kitchen and Giuseppe and Massimo in the dining room. Today, the restaurant has earned a Michelin star and the Troiani brothers are still at the helm.⁶

Their specialty is Italian cuisine with an edgy and innovative twist, creating a refined fine dining experience. Chef Angelo Troiani’s Amatriciana has been on the menu since 1996 and remains a guest favourite.⁶

Il Convivio Troiani is located at Vicolo dei Soldati 31. It’s open every day except Sunday, from 19:30 to 22:30.⁶

Orma Roma

Orma offers a bold and contemporary fusion concept, combining Italian flavours with South American and Asian influences. Chef Roy Caceres introduces ingredients and traditions from his native Colombia, making it one of Rome’s most creative dining experiences and earning the restaurant a Michelin star.⁷

The restaurant places great importance on fresh ingredients, which is why they have their own vegetable garden. For your first visit, consider choosing one of the two tasting menus.⁷

Orma Roma is located at Via Boncompagni 31. You can book a table every day except Sunday and Monday.⁷
