Argentina digital nomad visa: requirements and eligibility

Argentina is one of many countries which has a digital nomad visa. Introduced in 2022, it’s a type of electronic travel authorisation (ETA) called Tramitación de Ingreso Electrónica or TIE 24H.

To meet the Argentina digital nomad visa requirements, you must be from a country that doesn’t require a tourist visa to enter Argentina¹ - the UK is one of these.2

There is no published minimum income requirement, but you may be asked for proof that you have enough funds to support yourself, along with proof of work or employment.

How much does it cost?

The Argentina digital nomad visa costs a total of £200 (or currency equivalent)

in application fees. These are paid in two stages - an initial fee of £120 when starting the application process, and then a further fee of £80 to complete the application with your local Argentinian consulate.3

Aside from the upfront application fees, there may be other costs to factor in. For example, the cost of getting a health insurance policy or having documents translated.
