Wise always uses the fair mid-market exchange rate for foreign payments. This is the only fair rate out there – and you’ll never pay an added markup on your money.
If you were a Revolut Standard customer, you could withdraw up to 200 GBP for free. However, you can use your Wise card to withdraw up to 350 CAD over 2 withdrawals.

You can use your KOHO® Prepaid Mastercard anywhere that Mastercard is accepted, including shops, restaurants and tourist hubs in worldwide locations.
The KOHO Prepaid Mastercard is a credit card, meaning you can earn cash back on purchases without accruing credit card debt.. However, the card doesn’t accrue debt as it only uses the money you already have in your account.⁵
There are a few different KOHO account plans, including KOHO Essential, KOHO Extra and KOHO Everything. KOHO Extra and Everything customers can access no foreign transaction fees and a higher rate of interest.⁶

There are lots of popular alternatives to the Revolut card in Canada. You can use your Wealthsimple Cash Card, CIBC Advantage debit card, KOHO Prepaid Mastercard or Wise card to spend and withdraw cash across the world.
However, you’ll need to look out for foreign transaction fees if you want to use your cards abroad. For example, KOHO charges 1.5% on non-Canadian transactions.
Most providers will also charge a markup on the standard mid-market exchange rate for foreign currency purchases. These costs can add up if you regularly travel overseas.
